Leon Rogers


Leon Rogers also known as
“The Destined Legend” is a comedian/DJ/Actor who has been featured on
several popular comedy shows, including Showtime at the Apollo, BET’s Comic
View, P. Diddy’s Bad Boys of Comedy, Barbershop 1 and 2, Jamie Foxx’s Laffapalooza,
Cedric The Entertainer’s starting line up, Starz Martin Lawrence First
Amendment Stand up and Windy City Live. He is currently a member of “The
Morning Takeover” on 107.5 WGCI (6am-10am) in Chicago which is the third
largest radio market in the country.  In addition to being featured
on television, Leon also has a few film credits to his name, such as
Barbershop 1, 2 and HBO’s original film The Tuskegee Airmen. His on-screen
talents can also be seen in music videos for recording artists Ludacris, R. Kelly and Kerri Hilson.

His two-year stint as co-host of the
sports talk radio show, “Sports Unplugged,” with ESPN writer Scoop
Jackson and college basketball analyst Steve Bardo, showcased his love of
sports and his vast sports knowledge. He would eventually be chosen to star in
an EA Sports Madden video game commercial and narrate a sports package for ESPN
Sportscenter. Leon has received a host of
awards and accolades, including top honor for the Miller Genuine Draft Comedy
Search, Chicago Music Awards Comedian of the Year twice, as well as a finalist
in Comedy Central’s Laugh Riots competition.

Leon
began his career as a stand-up comedian in the mid-1990s and has been
steadfast in making the masses laugh through his calculated
ignorance.
